Music has proven to be something in our world that has the might to reach out to individuals and ultimately change lives.  Like some medicinal drugians, I have found an intense passion for this trace and witnessed the lasting effect it has on people. However, throughout my tuneful go thus far, I have encountered a great hired man of adversity that has shaped me into a hardworking and unique person.  It was non until the second half of my freshman year that my interest in music blossomed, which was much later than many who wish to major(ip) in music.  Nonetheless, through the coaxing of my peers and my own interest, I joined school ensembles such as jazz surround, concert band, spend drumline, and marching band. In doing so, I was able to see the dishful within many different types of music.  By experiencing incredible musical moments, music became a huge part of my life, which, in all, conduct to my determination in fighting against the odds and becoming a music major. Even as an infant, I lived in a musical world.  My father was a drummer in a joggle band, and my mother had a background of being a pianist and violinist. There were always wondrous timbres that engulfed my home.

  As a toddler, when I was pushed up to the sonant in my high chair, the musical sounds I was banging out on the complex array of sables hair pencil and ivory seemed quite intriguing.  Seeing my interest in music growing at only age five, my parents brought me to a one-on-one piano teacher to begin lessons.  While continuing my learning on the piano I experimented with saxophone in quaternate grade band.  I continued to be persistent with my piano lessons, and as I got older and my curiosity grew. As I matured, I began to develop an interest in drums from being uncovered to the conglomeration of the band instruments that filled my house during his band rehearsals. In the sixth grade I inquired about joining band as a percussionist, wondering if that could one day be me.  Sadly, there was an abundance of percussionists. I was denied...
