Although there atomic number 18 over 29 candidates from the 2000 United States presidential Election, I have chosen to write about the roughly important ones. I chose the six major candidates representing the Democrats, Republicans, and the Green Party. The candidates from the republican political party are George W. Bush and Richard B. Dick Cheney. The candidates from the democratic party are Albert Al Gore, junior and Joseph I. Joe Lieberman. The candidates from the green party are Ralph Nader and Winona LaDuke. These candidates are the most likely candidates for the presidentship and vice presidency in the 2000 United States Presidential Election. I have include a brief description of the candidates, including their political, personal, and educational careers.
Albert Al Gore, Jr. the democrat from Tennessee is currently the vice president of the United States and has been since 1993 when his tally mate William bill Clinton was elected president. Before hat he was the U.S. Senator from 1985-93 winning 61% of the votes in 1984 and 70% of the votes in 1990. He was the U.S. Congressman from 1977-85 with 94% of the votes in 1976, unopposed in 1978, 79% of the votes in 1980, and unopposed again in 1982. In 1988 he was an unsuccessful candidate for the Democratic nomination for President, 1988.
Before he started his political career he was a newspaper reporter for the Nashville Tennesseen from 1973-76. He was also in the U.S. Army (Vietnam) during 1969-71. He was educated at Vanderbilt University School of Law from 1974-76, and Vanderbilt University School of pietism from 1971-72. He obtained his BA with Honors (Government) at Harvard University, 1969.
