Research indicates that advertising contributes to increased use of goods and services of alcohol by young people and serves as a source of negative socialization for young people. I have seen countless advertisements for the effects of smoking tobacco products, but I have not yet seen a alcohol advertisement of any form that shows the dangers or consequences of what could happen if you chose to drink their products.
