Julia and me
The Cubans people al bearings have had a strong bend by this country however they are enemies. Almost both person there dream to come here smell for freedom and a new start thats wherefore English has some roots in that island that one was colonise by England . For that reason many children and adults go to schooling to check off English when an opportunity to leave Cuba knocks their door. Unfortunately my parents knew that they would never incur up ones mind that dream come truth and as a military issue I never learned English like Julia did and I see now how many differences we have in the way we got it such as family agree , school, and age.
In my home in Cuba my family speaks Spanish. My parents never were interested for their children to learn English and I soundless because the possibility to emigrate from Cuba to here was 1 in coke percent. Also ,to study English in Cuba you have to make extra effort because students in Cuba are very nimble and another language would stop them to star working that is the point goal to support the family. On the other hand, Julia have had solely the support from her parents to learn English as fast as she can.
They main objective was teach English to Julia so she depart be ready for their trip to NY. Julia also received lesson and support from other family members who usually corrected her when she made mistakes.
Another diametric I had with Julia was school. In Cuba the only way to learn English was through English program financed by the governance and backstage teacher was not allowed. These programs were very poor academically at mine time and the teachers were not well prepared. In addition, the government objective was to encourage students to learn Russian because its alliance with the Soviet Union.
