The 2006 congressional Elections
By narrowing the gap of campaign finances during the election, in effect the Democratic Party was fitting to regain 31 seating room for majority control of congress. Although the Republicans traditionally had the joy of campaign finances, the Democrats were able to pull off a major victory with slight money.
During the election, the Republicans spent more than $400 million on the campaign. On the other hand, the Democrats spent more than $300 million and quiesce regained control of the House. Yes, Incumbents carried the advantage during the election with nigh being reelected.
Most of my opinions are represented. I myself tend to favour those that push for greater advances for the military. I believe that personal docket drives individuals, regardless if its political or personal. It is my belief that on that point could not be anyone individual, which would be able to give twain sides what they are after.
Term limits are an ongoing battle inside our government. With that being said, the following are arguments for terminus limits: a. Voters prefer term limits. b. Term limits downgrades seniority, favors meritocracy. c. Increases competition, encourages new challengers. d. Builds a citizen Congress, drives out career politicians. e. Breaks ties to redundant interests. f. Improves tendency to vote on principle. g. Introduces fresh thinking, new ideas, eliminates old bulls. h. Reduces mightiness of staff, bureaucracy, lobbies. I. It will create a natural reduction in wasteful federal spending. j. Encourages lower taxes, smaller government, and greater elector participation in elections. k. There are more reasons in favor of term limits than reasons against. l.
