An income statements reports the business revenues and expenses during a level of time. Presenting a maintained earnings statement, indicates how much of the previous income was distributed, and how much was retained in the business to allow future growth. The statement of cash in flows contains the information to show where the business obtained cash during a current of time and how that cash was used.
The balance sheet indicates any assets and claims to assets at a certain point in time, the claims atomic number 18 split up into two categories which are creditors and owners. The claims of creditors are known as liabilities and the claims of owners are known as stockholders equity. The basic accounting equation is Assets = Liabilities + Owners Equity. An income statement also reports any failure of the company during a period of time.



Some factors of the income statement may include but are not limited too Revenues and Expenses: salaries, supplies, rent, insurance, interest, and depreciation expenses. If the net income shows interdict indeed the company has lost but if it shows positive then the company shows profit.
Retained earnings statement shows amounts and the causes of certain changes in retained earnings and helps determine what portion of profits to contribute to the shareholders in so called dividends. However it is known that few companies pay all of its current profit, because they believe that this allows the company further expansion.
