Many authors create their workings of literature with certain themes and motifs in mind, flooding their pages with icons and symbols with each dust of a pen or stroke of a key. A large portion of these authors do so to get a specific point across to the audience, or to teach the ratifier a lesson of some kind. Due to the various conditions and lifestyles writers lead, such themes gussy up from different foundations, many rooting up from a ancestry present within the author’s possess existence. metre periods and places of occupation can weigh heavily on a writer’s perception of the world, giving them an acceptably misrepresent view of society. Flannery O’Connor believed strongly in the Roman Catholic church, whilst being raised in a southern field lifestyle. These prominent elements in O’Connor’s life play a firm role in her as an author, and revealed themselves in both strong and subtle manners throughout her literature.
Religious morals acted largely upon O’Connor during her lifetime as she was a firm believer in the Roman Catholic church.
O’Connor felt that much of the blue world was becoming immensely apart from paragon and his commandments, and that many were willfully blind of what unfeigned Catholicism had been meant to be.
