Secondly, at home it may be that in array to support their family, working-class pupils might have to find themselves a job in order to forget a small income to help their family. If this is the case, then the pupil ordain hardly have anytime for revision, extra work outside of school, potentially leading to them not learning to their full capability.





Another reason for the under-achievement amongst working-class pupils is that in some cases their parents may not rely in education. For example, the parents may feel that manual work is more for their children, so they will try to enforce their values onto the pupil. If this is the case then the pupil wont bother at school, leading to their under-achievement.
