The age of revolutions
In 18th century, enlightenment philosophers such as Voltaire, Rousseau and Montesquieu, began to revolutionize the appearance of thinking in European world. The enlightenment was a front line in 18th century that questioned authority, religion and social hierarchy; enlightenment advocated reason, liberty and equality, and controlling ones sustain destiny.
The American and french revolutions were motivated by Enlightenment ideas; however, they were remarkably different in terms of subjective causes, types of leaders, progression, and outcomes.
Seven social classs war was undoubtedly the matrix of the French and American Revolution; a war that was started by George Washington, killing French military officer, in New France territory. It soon became a worldwide war, and after seven years, the British defeated the French. The French missed their colonies in North America. Both countries incurred enormous debts and practic anyy the British and French Empires went Bankrupt.
American society prior to revolution was a synthesis of semi-feudal and semicapitalist society, plus slavery that was a characteristic of Pre-feudal Europe. It did not have distinguishable social classes and hierarchy, and all social structures were shallow rooted.



There was class of fresh middle class who owned vast tracts of land, and slaves, there was a class lower-middle-class yeoman who owned some lands, and there was also a class of people who owned nothing, they were either slaves or articled servant, and they comprise 35 percent of the population in 1776.
The colonial America was truly an ethnic and cultural melting tail end; it was populated the British, Dutch, Swedes, Finns, Africans, Scotch-Irish, and Germans, who were protestant, catholic, Jews or religious outcasts and freemasons.
