From a huge variety of amazing ideas and great speeches, I chose the talk School kills creativity by Ken Robinson. This take arouses such a great interest in me non only because I majored in Pedagogics and its so relevant to my profession, but mainly because I strongly opine that every person has a talent that needs to be discovered. In my country, to study in primary school is a hard work and Im absolutely serious about that. Children have so many different and difficult assignments that they just dont have time for any other activities or even if they do, they come home tired and prefer to watch TV or play video games. And with every year schools scale d induce down those subjects that involve creativity. What happens is, as children grow up, we start to modernize them progressively from the waist up. And then we focus on their heads. And meagrely to one side. Starting with the first grade students are supposed to devote their whole life to something that they probably wint need in the future.
